3.a-  Paraphrase One of the following stanza:                         (5)
(i)     Awake! Arise! The hour is late
        Angels are in knocking at the door!
        They are in haste and cannot wait
         And once departed come no more.
(ii)    The waves beside them danced;but they outdid
        The sparkling waves in glee.
        A poet could not but be gay,
        In such a jocund company,
        I gazed and gazed but little thought,
        What wealth the show to me had brought.

4-    Translate ONE of the following passage into urdu or re-write it in simple English:           (10)\
(i)     They should support the orphans, windows and prisoners of war with the wealth that allah had made         them guardians of.the muslims if they followed the modle presented by the Holy Prophet (PBUH)
        and spent their wealth in doing good to the cause of humanity and Islam,this land could progress and         prosper well.
(ii)    For, when a ruler has learned to listen closely to the people's heart, hearing their feelings         excommunicated, pains unexpressed and complaints not spoken of,only then he can hope toinspire
        confidence in his people.The demise of states comes when leaders listen only to superficial words and
        do not go deeply into the souls of the people.

5-     Read and answer the question.                                      (12)
        My dear don, if the devil were to create doutes in your mind, let firm belief overpower him and         silence his whispers and if he tempts you to be negligent in virtues defeat him by remimberance of the
        grave and the day of resurrection, if he tempts joys of the world,or makes you afraid of the hardships
        of this life, say him: "One must inevitably leave this world (neither the luxuries nor the hardships of
        this life are everlasting)."
(i)     Who could create doubts in one's mind?
(ii)    How can the temptation of negligence in virtus be defeated?
(iii)   What would you say if the devil makes you afraid of the hardships of the life?
(iv)   How can you overpower the devil if he tries to create doutes in your mind?
(v)    Make one meaningful sentence with each of the underline words.

          Health is precious and certainly a great blessing of Allah Almighty. Hygienic  environment, personal           cleanliness, wholesome food and a regular way of life are conducive to health.Early to bed and early
          to rise,mealsat regulartimes,recreaction and rest are sure to make a man healthy, wealthy and wise.
          young people, who have plenty of energy,need to take vigorous athletic exercises in fresh, open air.
          sometime staying at one place, year in and year out tends to make us weary and stale.It is a single
          that what we need is a complete change in our environment.If we go to some other place in the hills
         or in the countryside, it done us a world of good. A change and fresh air are better than all the tonics           in the world.
